BLAS FESTIVAL

Brian is the Artistic Director of the annual Blas Festival. The principal objective of Blas is to celebrate traditional music in the Highlands and promotes interest in and the use of Gaelic. You can find out more about Blas from the Blas Website.

Brian is a owner and Director of Anam Communications in Inverness. Anam Communications offers professional services in consultancy, training and music Productions for the public, private and voluntary sector.

ANAM MUSIC

Brian is the sole owner of Anam Music, an independant record & music publishing company. The company's aim is to release recordings of high quality traditional & contemporary music and song of talented and respected Scottish/Irish musicians & singers. Visit the Anam Music Website for more details.

SCOTTISH INTERNET RADIO

You can listen to Brian's own internet radio show called 'Acoustic Nation' on Scottish Internet Radio. This show is always on-line and is recorded montly. On Acoustic Nation you will hear the best of singer-songwriter, country, bluegrass, folk, and more from Scotland and abroad.

FÒRAM GÀIDHLIG INBHIR NIS / INVERNESS GAELIC FORUM

Tha Brian air a' chomataidh d' Fhòram Gàidhlig Inbhir Nis. 'S e buidheann coimhearsnachd a th'ann am Fòram Gàidhlig Inbhir Nis, a tha toirt misneachd agus piseach do chòraichean na Gàidhlig is còraichean na Gàidheil a tha fuireach anns am baile, is an sgìre, Inbhir Nis. Bidh Brian ag ùrachadh an làrach-lìn den Fhòram a h-uile seachdain.

Brian is on the committee, and is one of the founding members of the Inverness Gaelic Forum. This is a young and vibrant community-based organisation, open to Gaels, Gaelic learners and everyone else interested in encouraging Gaelic and Gàidhealach culture across Inverness. Brian updates the Forum website weekly.

A' TEAGAISG GÀIDHLIG / Teaching Gaelic

Brian teaches various Gaelic classes for a number of clients including: Highland Language Institute, CLI Gàidhlig, Highland Council.

SCOTTISH NATIONAL PARTY

Brian strongly believes that Scotland should be an independant republic. He is a member of the Scottish National Party.
